ORANGE COMING EVENTS

At the Montpelier Wine Festival, many people were entertained by the music of the John Keifer Band.

A Pulitzer Prize winning author came to Montpelier on May Day to celebrate a four-state 175-mile swath of our nation as “one of the greatest schools of American history.”

This crowd-pleasing comedy fills the theatre with mistaken identities, romantic intrigue, a cascade of slamming doors, and enough laughter to have you “singing” its praises for weeks to come.

ORANGE COMING EVENTS

James Madison’s Montpelier will host the annual Montpelier Wine Festival, May 3-4. The festival will open each day at 11 a.m., rain or shine, and will close at 6 p.m. Saturday and 5 p.m. on Sunday.

The Journey Through Hallowed Ground Partnership (JTHG Partnership) is proud to announce that its annual meeting will be held on Thursday, May 1, from 9 a.m.-4 p.m. at James Madison’s Montpelier in Orange. The day-long meeting is in partnership with the Orange Downtown Alliance and the County of Orange and will feature a special presentation by two-time Pulitzer Prize-winning author, David McCullough.

Guest conductors coming from Lycoming College

Anna Mae Douthit has been the go-to person at the Virginia Cooperative Extension Office in Orange for the last 20 years. She plans to retire at the end of April, on her 70th birthday.
