Wine time
James Madison’s Montpelier will host the annual Montpelier Wine Festival, May 3-4. The festival will open each day at 11 a.m., rain or shine, and will close at 6 p.m. Saturday and 5 p.m. on Sunday.
McCullough highlights JTHG event
The Journey Through Hallowed Ground Partnership (JTHG Partnership) is proud to announce that its annual meeting will be held on Thursday, May 1, from 9 a.m.-4 p.m. at James Madison’s Montpelier in Orange. The day-long meeting is in partnership with the Orange Downtown Alliance and the County of Orange and will feature a special presentation by two-time Pulitzer Prize-winning author, David McCullough.

Anna Mae Douthit has been the go-to person at the Virginia Cooperative Extension Office in Orange for the last 20 years. She plans to retire at the end of April, on her 70th birthday.
