Four County Players is pleased to announce auditions for its upcoming production of the Dickens classic, “A Christmas Carol” by Michael Paller. This fresh approach to the classic tale faithfully conveys the magic of Dickens.
On Christmas Eve in 1843, friends and family gathered at Dickens’ home, asks him to tell a story, but he refuses to work on Christmas Eve.
If there is going to be a story, each must take a part in its telling. And so the story unfolds with the cast of 10 playing more than 40 parts.
The cast consists of five males, two females and three children (two males, ages 10-13, and one female, 10-13).
Auditions will be held on Oct. 6 and 7 at 7 p.m. at the Four County Playhouse in Barboursville. Performances are Fridays, Dec. 5, 12, 19; Saturday afternoons, Dec. 6, 13, 20; Saturday evenings, Dec. 6, 13, 20; and Sunday afternoons, Dec. 7, 14.
