On the heels of the release for “Indiana Jones and the Kingdom of the Crystal Skull,” the adventuring archaeologist will be making a visit to Orange this week for the Arts Alive film series at Taylor Park.
With the studio releasing rights to show the Indiana Jones trilogy, the Arts Center in Orange partnered with the Orange Downtown Alliance to bring the popular films to the summer series.
“Raiders of the Lost Ark” will air Thursday, Aug. 7, followed by “Indiana Jones and the Temple of Doom” Friday, Aug. 8 and concluding with “Indiana Jones and the Last Crusade,” Saturday, Aug. 9.
Films will be aired at Taylor Park at dusk--about 8:20 p.m.
Bring a lawn chair or blanket and bug spray.
Popcorn and lemonade will be available for $1 a bag/cup thanks to Orange County High School honor society volunteers. Funds raised go to support the Arts Center.
Wear your fedora and get free popcorn! If you don’t have a fedora, several donated hats will be available for sale.
All funds go to support the Arts Center in Orange and the ODA.
The film series is part of the annual Arts Alive! series that is partially funded by a grant from the Virginia Commission for the Arts.
