Good news:
Black neurosurgeon receives medal of freedom:  President Bush presented the Presidential Medal of Freedom, the nation’s highest civilian award, to Dr. Benjamin S. Carson, Sr., director of pediatric neurosurgery at Johns Hopkins Children’s Center in Baltimore. Mr. Carson performed the world’s first successful operation separating twins joined at the back of the head in 1987. ("Express" magazine)
Miss Jaymesa Michie was so happy and thanks her family and friends from Orange, New Jersey, Washington and Maryland for attending her graduation party on Saturday, June 28. Jaymesa is the granddaughter of Mrs. Deloris Long and the late Roy Long.
Happy birthday to those born in July. Have a safe and enjoyable Fourth of July.

Pray for Ms. Mable Easton’s daughter Janica who is in Louisa County Nursing Home.
