Rain, Rain, Rain
No rain was in the beautiful wedding of Robert and Nicole Ware of Seattle, Washington, on Saturday, July 10, only tears of joy. Robert (Lamont) says he was all right and getting things done until he saw all his family, from his mother to his aunts, cousins and friends who flew up from Washington, D.C., Warrenton, Bristow, Rapidan, Orange and Philadelphia. He said his heart felt like it would burst open with joy and he wondered if he would make it to the altar, so he called his grandma (Margaret Ware) of Orange a half-hour before the wedding and he pulled through like a champ. The top of the wedding was when the angels came through announcing, “The bride is coming, the bride is coming.“ It was beautiful. Everyone arrived home safe, thank the Lord.
The Rev. Frank and Shirley Lewis thank all the family and friends who gathered on July 4 at the homeplace in memory of their mother, Mrs. Anna Lewis and loved ones who have gone.

Humor - church
Every Sunday, the preacher would preach on dumping your sins in the river, your foul tongue, your smoking dope, alcohol; then a man came up and said he wanted to be baptized in that river!

Ware is a mother and grandmother and has lived in Orange County her whole life. To suggest a topic or to contact Jane, call 672-2197.
