Members of the Orange County Sheriff’s Office Special Response Team ran through various police scenarios with participants in the Citizens’ Police Academy last week. The purpose of the scenarios was to show the academy participants what happens in dangerous situations and also to allow them to act out their own scenarios and get a feel for what its like to be a member of the police force. At left, Here, Bill Grogan surrenders to Scott Edens. Above, Joe and Carla Wascalus are instructed on their role in the scenario by Officer Eric Hopwood.
