Each summer, at White Buffalo Farm near True Blue, children come for pony camp to learn fundamentals of riding and the basics of general horse care and health from farm owner Judy Watson. Many of the horses at White Buffalo Farm are well into the twenties and thirties-that’s over 100 years old in human years. Although those equine retirees spend most of their time grazing and snoozing, they graciously serve during pony camp as patient models and teachers.
