AYP correction
This week’s Orange County Review reported principals’ reactions to recent Adequate Yearly Progress data. The principals appeared before the Orange County School Board and presented action plans to improve their school’s test scores. Each of the principals discussed areas of concern, stated objectives and mapped out improvement plans before inquisitive school board members. In the Review’s story, the remarks attributed to Unionville Elementary School Principal Jen Curtis were incomplete. Her comments, taken from the meeting recording, are reprinted below for clarification.
