Gibson eager to begin council term

To the editor,
As a first-time candidate-elect to the Orange Town Council, I would like to begin by thanking all the people who voted and supported me throughout my campaign and election. I have great respect for former council members and state senators who have contributed to the benefit of this town in which we live and work.
I also look forward to working with the existing council members and state senators, as well as serving you.
Please accept this invitation to join us at the meetings and become involved in the issues concerning our town.
I will be taking my position as an elected town council member on July 1, 2008, and will strive to earn your continued support.
