To the editor,
I could have sworn that Orange County had come into the 20th century, complete with running water, electricity and a mindset to work for the betterment of animal rights. Condoning donkey basketball is such a step backwards into an ugly past, where stray animals were put to death just as soon as possible, and the concept of a no-kill animal shelter was a source of unending humor for the good ole’ rednecks. What’s next on your agenda, minstrel shows featuring Mr. Interlocutor in black face?
Why not just put saddles on the sponsors of this show, and have the crowd cheer them on?
