Anglers eager for pre-prom event
In the hours before the OCHS Junior/Senior Prom, the Anglers will compete in the Scholastic Invitational Tournament at Sturgeon Creek Marina.
Hornets hit track twice last week
The Orange track team traveled to Spotsylvania last Wednesday to compete against Spotsylvania, Caroline, and Chancellor.

Anglers will send one to JSQ
The Junior State Qualifier (JSQ), held April 26-27, cut most of the Anglers who participated. However, the tournament yielded one qualifier, Stephen Beasley.
Track teams shine at Western
Last Wednesday, the Orange track team traveled to Western Albemarle to compete against Western Albemarle, Charlottesville, St. Anne’s-Belfield, and Covenant.
The boys had a great meet, placing third.

Track teams compete at invitationals: UVa’s Dogwood Track Classic
Last Wednesday, the Orange track team traveled to Fluvanna to compete against Fluvanna and Fork Union. Only the boys competed against Fluvanna, beating them for second place.
Orange tennis boys split district matches
The Hornets won five of six singles matches to improve to 7-5 overall and 3-5 in the Jefferson District.

Anglers start new season with success
After an eventful weekend at Orange County High School Sportsman’s Show, the Anglers kicked off the new season on March 15 with the Lake Anna Ice Breaker tournament and a Jon Boat tournament at Sturgeon Creek.
Track teams lap Dragons
The Orange Track team had a busy week, hosting Senior Night on Wednesday then traveling to Tennessee for the Volunteer Track Classic Friday and Saturday.

Hornet track teams off to solid start
Orange track star Logan Collins broke a 32-year-old school record and the Hornets’ teams finished among the top six at the Gus Lacy Track Classic at Fork Union Saturday.
