A record-setting meet

Last Tuesday evening proved to be a winner for the Orange Otters, both big and small.
Emma Chronister set new pool records in the girls 15-18 50 back with a 29.7, 50 breast with a 34.7, 50 free with a 26.9, 50 fly with a 29.3 and the 100 free with a 57.7. Her sister Whitney wrapped up the records in this age group with a 34.7 in the 50 breast.
At the other end of the spectrum in the 6 and under category Samantha Ferguson placed first in the 25 free, 25 back, 25 fly, and 25 breast. Daniel Accardo took first in the boys 6 and under 25 free and Colton Moriarty in the 25 back. There is a lot of potential in all of the young swimmers as well as the team’s first-year swimmers of all ages.
The evening began with an exciting boys 100 free relay race with the team of Connor Fenwick, John Marquis, Brennan Richardson and brand new swimmer 16-year-old Seth Wright being out touched for first place by only .07 seconds and continued with many Otters winning or placing.
